Although Electricity retailers are private organizations and have no association with Hearst Power,  Hearst Power will continue to deliver and invoice your electricity whether you sign a contract with a retailer or not.

La CEO a publié un rapport intitulé “Consumers Come First:  A Report of the Ontario Energy Board on the Effectiveness of the Energy Consumer Protection Act, 2010″.  The goal of the report is to ensure low-volume consumers (residential and small business) have the information they need to make the right decisions about retail electricity, and confidence that they’re protected by fair business practices.

Vous vous verrez alors imposer le « Règlement de la GTR » ou « redevance d’annulation de service » sous forme de crédit ou de frais applicable à votre dernière facture. Ce crédit ou frais unique, correspond à la différence entre le montant que vous avez payé pour votre électricité dans le cadre de la GTR et le montant réel payé aux fournisseurs pour la production de l’électricité. Dans le cadre du régime de la grille tarifaire réglementée, des frais fixes vous sont facturés. Ces frais pourraient ou non refléter le montant réel aux fournisseurs.
