Additionally, the Electrical Safety Authority was created by the Province of Ontario to improve electrical safety for the well-being of the people. When working around powerlines, make sure to follow their safety guidelines (see examples below) and when conducting electrical work at your home or business, don’t forget to contact them to request the required ESA permit.
